Happy Holidays All the People
Hello to you all in the month of Holidays and events and gatherings. As I sit to write to you I have been in prayer for this nation, and the nations we attach ourselves to. I pray for all nations to have Peace. I pray for the desire for simplicity and connection to enter into the minds and hearts of those who have not experienced it. I sit in prayer to those who need healing from loss, for scars from old wounds both seen and unseen. I sit with God and ask the Light to administer Its luster to those who need it. For those who push it or people away. For all to have and feel and know love. My mind and heart are generating the truths of a season based upon the Love of a power known to us all, but somehow we have lost our way from this. For this IS the season of Light and commonwealth. Somehow everyone can see many people who’s priorities have been lost on the shadow world of needs based upon a feeling of needing control. As nature constantly reminds us, letting go is often the best way by showing us the general idea that in letting go of this power, true power comes to us. Whether it is fear, or pain, scarcity or lack that controls our emotions this season (and through out the year) it brings us to our knees asking ..”What matters? Where is my joy? love? abundance?” Often we forget to look inside our selves for this answer. Constantly adding to the theory of the grass needing to be greener. If you have nothing to give for your feeling of lack, a simple hug or word of goodness or some Grace to another person, community or cause is all you need give. Or putting your resources together to build something together could be a gift of true joy. How do we find the spirit of the days in the dark times or dark months or within a dark or lost heart? Look to any example of any person doing good for others, making people laugh, making good music, writing good stories or creating small hopes. There lies a bit of a spark for you. Too much information in the information highway often gets us to get lost in a maze of goods and ads and temptations.
How long has it been since you looked up to the sky for a few moments, lost in the everything that is nothing which is all ? Or walked to get a coffee with a friend with no agenda of time or need just to have a surprising good talk with a stranger next to you on the street, or hear a musician playing great music for just a little money. Do not forget what this time is truly here for, no matter where your Holiday lies in what sector or place on this earth. It is the common good of how we are all connected. There is no escaping this. What lies within my brother or sisterhood lies within me and you and no matter if you agree with them or not, we are all one, living on the same planet. We must learn to share our earth in Peace and compassion for our brothers and sisters. We must know that our rivers and waterways bring us all our drinks to each of our own tables. We must bless our land with respect and caring .We must bless our families with apologies and tenderness. Our children need our time most, and the video games can wait a few while we actually share the simple task of baking, building, running, laughing, and making new traditions with them now. For this is what will hold them to the truths of new generations to come.
I know many of you have had to put a new twist on holidays and spending, or things of the life due to job changes and marital changes or simply a wind of newness in your lives. When you stop fighting a storm, there lies the let go, the bliss of the sacred that we try so hard to find. Maybe it does lie within us truly. Maybe we ARE the answer. Maybe YOU are .
Love is all around. Find it, find yours Within you. Then add to it and share it. This could be a Happy Holiday in ways we forgot all about. If you have more to give, you can give and know there are those who will find an avenue to push forward your gift, grace or time that you have shared. Giving can be how we define it. As long as it is given in LOVE and TRUST, there is only goodness to come from that. Off we go to a new year! And time it turns and turns and we are the writers of a great script called life. Lets make it a beautiful story.
