June News; Love and Other Wonders

Hello Friends

Happy June to you all. I write this on Monday the 4th, currently in a full moon in Sagittarius with a partial lunar eclipse going on. It is a big, big month with lots of activity in the “cosmic skies” that is making all of humanity become more awake and aligned with love and tenderness for self and others. The trans-formative qualities that are being influenced by the big Venus transit that is occurring on the 6th are huge and powerful. To put this in regular terms; if you are needing a lesson, a review or a wake up call for your heart or for your DESIRES for your heart, even if it involves money (also ruled by Venus), or your work or your purpose here on earth, it will be shown to you now. The whole month proves to be showing us all the corners and recess of the grooves of our hearts, or the walls that surround our hearts, and that does not just mean romantic, it means all aspects of life. That we are beginning to lose our pains of the past to new joys that await us in our futures. That our normal old methods of “thinking” may need to be re-addressed to a better pattern that suits a happier, more joyful, more prosperous way of life for ourselves and for those we come in contact with. The best way to describe what is happening is to just say that love in action will be around us all the time now. It could be for family, friends, our work or our intimate relationships and most importantly ourselves. The crud that had settled into any spot that we have been shrouding will be forced to be shaken free now. Best not to fight it. Just go with it and welcome in the changes that are blossoming all around you. Remember that you are not alone in your timidity or fear, but many a valiant human being are jumping into this new, huge, heart feeling.

Go into nature as much as you can to balance all the big energy out there right now, be good to yourself and your body. Start the stuff that has been poking at you to get done, and that you know will be good for you. Trust it. I planted a big garden recently and will look forward to the wonderful harvest of my efforts as the summer progresses forward. I thought of how the hard work of planting a garden is a wonderful metaphor for living a better abundant life and I saw and felt the energy of my land change immediately when I did. A tiger-swallowtail butterfly came and fluttered around the new soil as if to bless it and after we planted all the veggies in 5 hawks circled our heads (the number  of us here in the house) and after a long hot shower that day we fell into a deep sleep. At around midnight I was awoken by the hoot of an owl outside my window, the first I had heard since moving here. A wonderful auspicious blessing for the symbology of the work I had done to come to this place, both literally and symbolically. My clients know that I often say a garden can not grow with out both effort first and some “shit” in it for the grace of the blossoming and the nourishment .

I believe it’s time for everyone to know that kind of relationship to land, food, school, humanity and to SELF all over. Maybe the gift of the butterfly’s message of rebirth can happen to anyones garden inside of ourselves or outside of ourselves.

Easy Steps;

1) Replace bad soil of thought with natural loving rich and true new “soil”.

2) Plant new ideas and memories with nutritive ones that reap harvest s of joy and loving substance for all of your waking hours.

3) Harvest all the new, better, more self-loving thoughts outwardly to share with everyone you meet daily.

4) Lastly; Keep amending the soil of your life by re-tilling all the outworn things into newly composted and regenerated thoughts that serve the new garden, not the old one, and live in abundance, self nutritive love and community.

That’s not half bad for today’s metaphor. Life in a garden of renewal, opportunity and bounty. It’s worth the shovel, the rain and sun.

May you be blessed in finding your hearts joy again now, or for the first time ever.

with love and deep gratitude and blessings,

Sarah

  1. Sarah, Interesting how the entire newsletter spoke to the reading you did for me about a month ago. It was a gentle reminder. The song at the end captured the sentiments and message beautifully. Thank you. Kathy

  2. Mahalo Sarah, I too have a garden(community garden in Honolulu). Your writing rings so true. As always your sharing is much appreciated.
