January News; How to Filter

Hello Friends

This is a late out the door note after our rush into the new year. I hope your celebrations and rituals were happy ones. This is already proving to be a powerful year full of news and blues and changes. I’m sure you have noticed within what you see and hear out in the world that folks are struggling to find answers and sometimes finding the avenue of combativeness is the one that pulls them. That’s all this “Mars” energy that is in our skies. Although the planet of war and action is currently retrograde, there is much anger swirling. Of course most anger can be used in healthy ways to bring about positive changes but unchecked or at the hands of unhealed hearts it can bear down with no attitude of finding real truth.

I have found the times to be just as I have seen years ago brewing and building into a time of choice and will, fate and fury, peace and healing . There is a point to all this. One might not think so to turn on the news and watch the media or movie houses. But if one opens one’s eyes and dares to see things from a brand new place or a place that feels ” right”, you will see it. Its time to heal or be healed. That means all of us and all we do.

December News: Expanding and Giving

Hello Everyone,

Here it is, the first of December. All of the sudden the Holiday train has pulled into our station and many of us feel like we are caught with our lives half ready for the onslaught of what-to- dos and traditions and expectations all around us. In our world of today, which is highly saturated and electronic, we have to deal with triple the amount of holiday commercialism and fanaticism. In a time where we have two worlds colliding with us, one where we feel compelled to go into changing our priorities to a  more unified and spiritual core, while we live in a fast paced highly technological and advanced society, it can get confusing. Likening it to the art of balancing plates might work. Needing the core strength and patience to keep still and calm while we spin many things quickly. Go back to simple times, while spreading the news of how to do that on high speed internet via social network on our tiny smart phones and the like. Duality reigns.

November News; Gratitude and attitudes

Good day all,

Although it is mid-month, I am glad I still can find the time to get out a November newsletter to you all. The weather here does not feel like November, more like October. After an odd crazy nor’easter storm, we have warmer days and beautiful shifting skies. I always find this time of year to be a creative one, as the soil knows soon it will freeze, it calls us to plan on projects to hold space for the coming chill and the darker days. It is a good time to go against what some expect in feeling dark to find the light within us.  As we struggle to do so, you will notice the darkness coming out to be healed. As with the news of late and the scandals and suffocation and protections of bad behaviors for money and status, these things and issues will now be seen in a new “light.”

October News; Re-Evolution

Greetings All

There is a dash of sunlight coming in my window here in Maine right now after many many soggy days of darkness. For this I am grateful. It has been a very trying time for many folks lately. I, being so sensitive and tuned into both earth and human energies have been awake many long hours in the night feeling the worries of others. I usually take that time to send out prayers to others, to listen to my own guidance, and to begin to call upon creative energies to come to me so that I can awake later renewed and with a new vision for my life or to help others. Nothing is as it was before and yet it feels like we are stuck between today, yesterday and tomorrow. This is making people lose their footing in a sense, even making them crack at the seams. This is good medicine to move us out of zombie mode into creative power, both personal or collectively.

September News; Find a New Groove

Hello All..

It has been a busy start to the month, as it is always in the switch of the seasons. Many folks are adjusting to new schedules and being in the routines of school days and cooler air temps.

I always find this time of year to be a good one to reassess my inner compass and my core spiritual and personal goals so that I can attune to the seasons change in a way that is welcoming and beneficial to my wholeness here on Earth. As the season makes us prepare for the upcoming time of inner thought as all cooler months bring us “inside” a bit more, it is wise to re-weave your dream scape and your “vision boards”. I have noticed many clients this past few weeks dealing with what they feel is a duality of sorts; On one hand they feel compelled to make change and feel very powerfully guided to question things that may not be going “right ” in their lives but feel quite good about making such movement. Then on the other hand they are dealing with powerfully strong feelings of anxiety. Its like being nervous before going on stage or presenting a report for work. Huge issues of palpable fear stops them just short of making change or moving onward or in a different direction.

August News; Lord make me an instrument…

Hello Friends

On a beautiful day in the glorious state of Maine, I write my newsletter to you with hopes on getting outdoors soon. I do think we should embrace the good weather when it comes, making hay in a fun way so to speak. How marvelous is the magic of the season of harvest. I know that this week that we have been in has brought intense challenges to many, many people. The words calamity and chaos are fitting. There is (astrologically speaking) much planet intensity going on. Like a pow wow of potent cosmic energy mixing with the mercury retrograde that is making it hard to get across good points and making those who think they have it all put us up against walls with anger or hidden agendas. When folks come to my office and say “why” is this or that happening to them sometimes I am guided to say…” why not?”  It often is the impetus to get someone to drop down and pray, ask for help, take a serious look at how they can react or not react to situations to bring about inner peace or better outcomes. This is the whole reason why we are in such serious times of transition. If we dont change the hows and how comes into how to’s and thank you’s, well…a broken system (or relationship, practice, family, or the like) will never heal.

Like most of the crud that is coming up in odd ways to be healed, so too is our nations system being broken down to be rebuilt. If the common good for all (that includes our home planet Earth) is not heeded now, nothing will ever work right or work well. Just like nature works seasonly and constantly to rebalance eco systems, gardens and shorelines, everything will find a way to be balanced. That is the natural law of the cosmos, the universal mind and the mind of the Creator. We are not separate from It nor It from us. Until we understand what that means to us and to our living in unison and brother/sisterhood here globally, we will keep making dire mistakes. But we have a chance right now to try to make choices based on a community minded way of living. We ARE the creators of this. It is easier to do than we think, its all about letting greed take a back seat and remembering that no matter what, goodness and Light are how we need to do business.

Most all of my clients are filing in having one of two reactions to times of late. Panic and fear, utter literal illness growing inside their bodies with fears that are arrising, or a new, magical oddly intituve happy and inquisitive way of taclking ideas, change or hope and clarity. There is not alot of gray there. It’s one or the other, like a battle of one side of consciousness (ego, dogma, following other’s fears) fighting or staring at the other side of consciousness (Spirit filled, heart based, open, curious, trusting, intuitive) and it is happening to everyone; Healers, doctors, lawyers, librarians, teachers, government officials, military officers, artists, writers, dancers, police officers, accountants, internet developers, children, older folks, black, white, all religions, all creeds everyone in every country. Just look at how some  things are crumbling. Please do not fear these times and do not tap into fear. Turn off the news or the internet if you can not take it; and then go out and BE THE CHANGE  that you want to see. “Lord, make me and instrument of thy peace..” and if you do not know how or what you feel is “Lord” to you.. well, time to mediate on what that means to you. Is it dancing? Teaching? Is it praying to a tree? Is it a Temple of worship? Is it a family dinner table, with the TV off? What ever brings you closer to that which needs to give you faith. Find it and know that fear, is and always will be the path to the dark side (thanks Yoda). So, do everything you can to steer clear of negative people, ideas, music, institutions, or those posing as healers trying to convince you yourself, have no power in your soul to make your life magic and full of possibility right now. All broken systems will find a way to right themselves. We have the Light on our side. We have you and me and we have Love. Love always heals that which needs to be healed.

With a reminder to check in with me for classes in September, I’m going to leave you with the reminder of the fact that I’m here being a voice for your Guidace to help you find the way to find YOUR truth and happiness. So c’mon in and we can build up a new world “together, all in one” …

and with some words from Martin Luther King that feel fitting right now.

“The time has come for an all-out world war against poverty. The rich nations must use their vast resources of wealth to develop the underdeveloped, school the unschooled, and feed the unfed. Ultimately a great nation is a compassionate nation. No individual or nation can be great if it does not have a concern for “the least of these”. Deeply etched in the fiber of our religious tradition is the conviction that men are made in the image of God and that they are souls of infinite metaphysical value, the heirs of a legacy of dignity and worth. If we feel this as a profound moral fact, we cannot be content to see men hungry, to see men victimized with starvation and ill health when we have the means to help them. The wealthy nations must go all out to bridge the gulf between the rich minority and the poor majority.

In the final analysis, the rich must not ignore the poor because both rich and poor are tied in a single garment of destiny. All life is interrelated, and all men are interdependent. The agony of the poor diminishes the rich, and the salvation of the poor enlarges the rich. We are inevitably our brothers’ keeper because of the interrelated structure of reality. John Donne interpreted this truth in graphic terms when he affirmed:

No man is an Iland, intire of its selfe: every
man is a peece of the Continent, a part of the
maine: if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea,
Europe is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie
were, as well as if a Mannor of thy friends
or of thine owne were: any mans death
diminishes me, because I am involved in
Mankinde: and therefore never send to know
for whom the bell tolls: it tolls for thee.”

and remember ,

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
— Rumi

Giving you all my Love and sharing profound Faith and Blessings for all properity,

Sarah
