Late March News – One Heart

Hello my Friends,

How things have whirled and swirled and swept up the winter and moved it out with a force and a fury that matched its power and strength in ways that have affected us all thousandfold. It has taken me days to get to this mailing, for me being as attuned to people and the earth as I am, I had felt the earthquake and tsunami coming, and had nights of no sleep before it happened and then I was quite physically run down after. As the Natives of our land said “what happens to one part of the chain of life, so happens to all” and that I could feel. The sorrow, compassion and grief that we all feel for the people of Japan is strong. On top of that earth change comes the force of the equinox and the arrival of the spring (at least on the calendar!) in the Northern hemisphere. We await the spring weather on bated breath. We await the news with worry and fears. We are in a large pod of change and you and I are sitting squarely in it like it or not, understand it or not, care about it or not.

Late February News – Unfurling

»Posted by on Feb 22, 2011 in Newsletters | 0 comments

Hello My friends

You may have noticed that this newsletter is coming to you later than normal. I have been under the spell of winter’s work and winters growth. I, too, like others, go through processes of big blocks of time that I meditate on my life and the next direction to take. Like planting seeds for the gardens of the next season, to nurture our spiritual bodies. As one can see with the news of the middle east and other spots of the world, either growth comes in as unrest and panic or volcanoes of rapture and radiance, with violence or peace. I often speak of the term “the collective unconsciousness” or the “collective consciousness” when in my sessions. This is the general mindset either in the shadow of all our minds or the mindset of our light and our brilliance and we all share it. We are but One being, separate only by plots of land and bodies of water. All human and nature-kind is linked by the Mind of the source of intelligence that created it and created our breath. When one part of the world goes through growth and or unrest, trying to shed the old and become newer, one can expect that to play out in some manner on ones own life.. for all of life is connected.

January 2011 – Lessons, Love and Choices

Happy New Year All,

I write you this newsletter today in the first month of the new year, 2011. I had been waiting patiently sipping my tea and going about my usual beginning of the new year doings; organizing, cleaning, setting intentions, sharing time with loved ones, taking the trees and glitter down. Breathing, and pacing myself for the success and dreams of the new year. I kept waiting for my inspiration and “go ahead” to write my newsletter for the new month. I felt I had to wait for something. And then it came. Amidst the joy of the renewal of a new year, January sun shining down on us a great tragedy in Arizona prompted not only me to stop and look but somehow, many. This has obviously stirred a lot of emotion and pain up and out of us as a collective nation and gathered up a collective body of words and anger, pain and confusion. Sometimes it takes the the sacrifice of a few to awaken many. This is one of those times. The words and suffering of those who have power to infuse folks with the anger or power to take action will always affect some who take it the wrong way or literally. This is the problem with being in position of “power.” Like Spider-man was told “with great power comes great responsibility.” Of course Spiderman uses it to save lives and be a good example. On the other hand …well, you have those who want to hurt or harm.

I hope that we all find ways to enjoy this holiday without making stress be our major ingredient among the cinnamon, peppermint and glogg! Do you think you can do it? I am going to try my best. Remember how we all fall victim to mass mind and collective fear and stress. Keep it loving and light this season and always.

One more time I am going to announce and direct you to my Blurb page where you can see a sample (there are a few pages to preview although it is more pages than the sample shows) and purchase my new inspirational book titled ” A Vibrant Light “. View and purchase it here!

It is a loving book of inspirational poetry, prayers and mantras for self healing written by me and supported with gorgeous nature and abstract photography by Reed Allen. I have wanted to put out a book like this for a while and when Spirit (and Samuel) pushed me to get it done, I trusted and just jumped into it with joy and now it is available for purchase for gifts or for yourself to own and take with you for your prayers and hope. It is 76 pages, comes in soft or hardcover, printed on premium paper and it is 10 x 8 landscape size.
As this is a self published book it prints on demand and takes about a week to print, then it ships. Hopefully we will be able to get it into stores sometime in 2011.

Enjoy everyday and read the below blog for more news.
I’m sending you Love and Light and a dance for a jolly Holiday.

Miracles and blessings!

December News – Season of Light

Happy Holiday and Solstice Season All,

After our first snow it finally seems like winter has arrived here in Southern Maine. The chill and the darkness begs to be acknowledged. With that we light up lights and put the wood in the stove and light candles. Most of us will take heed to listen to gentle pulls to go a bit within and look at things and thoughts and issues that reside within us that long to come out now. The irony has it that inner issues that seem dark or lonely come out to the front right when we do the most of our celebration and sharing with friends and family. It serves as a balm and a catalyst for us to heal that which needs to be healed. As you can see from the news of late, it is not just personal issues that long to come out into the forefront and be noticed. It is also global and political issues that are coming to the dinner table. There is much work to do in the way of healing that which is broken. Anger, mistrust, and hurt is an obvious reaction. While it is helpful to let those emotions out in a healthy way, there could be a new way of doing things. Maybe long talks and long walks could help. Making music, writing letters, praying and finding a spiritual outlet. Negativity is a death sentence for Hope. Being careful to look at things and ideas from different perspectives and all sides of the issues may be the best way to heal that which is within us and without of us. Have you ever actually sat in silence and thought about how others may feel or what they may need. To put others first is a big step for some and that may heal many things. That is the true kind of gift giving you can give loved ones this holiday.
